the worsening of depression, including suicidal thinking, in patients who already suffer
from depression. Zaleplon may cause temporary changes in your behavior, such as aggression, agitation, confusion, or strange behavior.

Precautions and Drug Interactions
Rifampin reduces the amount of zaleplon in the blood by more than 80%, this decreases
the effect of zaleplon. Conversely, Cimetidine (Tagamet) can increase the amount of
zaleplon in the blood, if Cimetidine is to be used, then 5mg rather than 10mg is suggested.
Alcohol should be avoided, as the drowsiness caused by zaleplon is increased by alcohol.
